Babo is a popular Mexican rapper and was born on November 16, 1976. In 2003 with the release of their self-titled debut album, he and his bandmates first garnered widespread attention. Babo is a lead rapper and vocalist in the Mexican hip-hop group Cartel de Santa.
“Golpe Avisa” his eighth album with the band was released in 2014. Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, Mexico is where he spent his childhood. In 1997 he established the first iteration of Cartel de Santa. In the beginning, he and his pals would just make up rap songs and that eventually turned into a serious interest in music as a career option.
