You can read here all the latest updates on Riverdale Season 7 Premiere. The first season of Riverdale premiered in 2017 and it followed the main cast as they investigated a murder while still in high school. Since then the show’s reputation for airing increasingly ridiculous storylines has helped it survive for seven seasons.

In the most recent season Percival Pickens, a particularly infamous villain set out to destroy the town for personal gain. Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) used her enhanced abilities at the end of the season to stop a comet that Percival had sent hurtling toward Riverdale.

Although she was ultimately successful the result was to return the town to the 1950s with only Jughead (Cole Sprouse) able to recall what had transpired. Naturally, in Season 7 everyone will be stuck in the 1950s without any idea of how they got there. Jughead plans to try to bring things back to the present day in Riverdale.

He plans on enlisting the aid of his girlfriend, Tabitha Tate in this endeavor (Erinn Westbrook). Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show’s creator and executive producer has promised that it will be completely inevitable and totally surprising.
