The Bachelor, the program that started it all, is returning to restart the cycle. However, there is still a lot to discover about what comes next.

Here is all we currently know about The Bachelor Season 27.

For Season 27, Zach Shallcross will be the following Bachelor. Shallcross, who looks to be entirely unproblematic, was chosen by ABC over a few recent contestants, including Nate Mitchell, who was chosen by fans (so far). Described in his ABC profile as a “hopeless romantic” with “a great heart that he is so ready to share forever with the right woman,” Zach is a 26-year-old tech executive from Anaheim Hills, California.

Zach decided to leave The Bachelorette before the rose ceremony during his stint as a contestant following a hard overnight date in the dream suites with Rachel. Zach won fans’ hearts when he stayed true to himself and traveled alone out of Mexico, although he did not end up with Rachel. The attractive Californian will now get a second opportunity to find love as ABC’s most recently eligible bachelor.

Fun fact: We learned that Zach’s uncle, actor Patrick Warburton, is during The Bachelorette’s “Hometown Dates” episode.

The Bachelor Season 27 Contestants

Even though the debut is a few weeks away, Jesse Palmer will be introducing the women of Season 27 live on TikTok on January 4. The stream goes live at 4 PT/7 ET. During The Bachelorette’s “After the Final Rose” event in September, viewers received a sneak preview of the forthcoming contenders.

In a novel movie, ABC also gave viewers a chance to determine who receives the first impression rose, a decision usually made by the Bachelor on night one. After taking a Polaroid selfie with the new Bachelor and winning the season’s first rose, Brianna quickly became a fan favorite. She secured a spot in the forthcoming rose ceremony.

Who Will Host Season 27 of The Bachelor?

Jesse Palmer will return as host of The Bachelor for its 27th season. Palmer has contributed to the last three seasons of the program, including Bachelor in Paradise 2022, The Bachelorette with Gabby and Rachel, and The Bachelor with Clayton Echard. Beginning on January 23, the show will air on ABC every Monday at 8 PM (ET).

Additionally, fuboTV, which provides a seven-day free trial, lets you watch it live. Another choice is to view it on Hulu’s on-demand service, streaming the episodes the day after their debuts. Speaking of filming, RealitySteve reports that the venerable Villa de la Vina home in Agoura Hills, California, will once again host the program.

However, the contenders and the Bachelor will visit far-flung locales like the Bahamas, London, Estonia, Hungary, and Thailand.
