After her son’s death, Carmela Wallace decided to invest in the south side community where he had attended high school as a way to remember him. I can’t think of a better way to honor him seeing as we’re constructing it in his name, Wallace said. As I’ve already said, “the whole project is a labor of love for everyone involved.”

Nearly three years after his untimely death, Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins continues to enjoy enormous renown in Chicago and beyond. Juice WRLD’s 24th birthday was Friday, but he was killed last year. In honour of his birthday, he decided to launch his new business. Therefore, I believe he would enjoy, What Wallace had to say.

Now that her son is gone, Wallace is remembering him by giving back to the community where he spent his childhood and adolescence. “My biggest fear was him overdosing,” Juice WRLD’s mother says in her first public comments adding that she hopes her son’s death will serve as a lesson to the world.

She praised that warm sense of community that you get here and remarked on how much Jarad adored Homewood. Now that he was famous, he still visited Homewood occasionally, but eventually, there were too many visitors to keep up with them all. It’s remarkable, though, that he always found his way back.

On Friday, construction began on Homewood Brewing Company, a brewery and restaurant to be opened by Wallace. However, there is a lot more to the venture than just a social gathering. It is something I do for him. The driving force is enthusiasm, that’s what she said. Wallace said she hopes this will be a place where people can come together to honor her son’s legacy and reflect on the ways in which his music has helped others through difficult times. Therefore, she established the Live Free 999 organization in his name.

She said It all began with him. I’ve been tasked with relaying his latest communication. Because he constantly communicated with his followers. They felt moved by his music in some way. They realised they weren’t alone because of it.
