Saraya (Paige) Makes AEW Debut
This happened after the Fatal Four-Way match for the Interim AEW Women’s Championship, in which Toni Storm kept the gold against Britt Baker, Athena, and Serena Deeb. After the bell, Toni Storm was having a party, but Baker caught her by surprise. Jamie Hayter went to the ring and hinted that she might become a babyface. However, she stayed with Baker and helped beat up Toni Storm, which cemented their team. Then, mysterious music was heard throughout the arena.
The name “Saraya” was shown on screens all over the stadium, so the fans knew who was coming before she even walked out on the ramp.
When Saraya got into the ring, Baker and Hayter had to leave. As she took in the cheers of the New York crowd, Saraya hugged Athena and Toni Storm, who used to work with her in WWE.
Tony Khan, the boss of AEW, went on Twitter after the segment to welcome Saraya to the team.
