Cast And Crew Of Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Firaxis Games, developers of the excellent XCOM series, are taking on Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Jake Solomon, the game’s director, said, “Midnight Suns is practically the reverse of XCOM.” “The bad folks are the ones that are afraid of you on this map, not the aliens. From a mechanical and thematic perspective, it’s merely XCOM played backward.”
“Solomon: “It’s an honor for me and the crew to be entrusted with these characters and their stories; I grew up reading and loving Marvel comics. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will bring your favorite Marvel heroes to life like never before if you enjoy role-playing games, tactical games, or both.”

After a summer delay prompted Firaxis to announce that the game was not expected to arrive until sometime around March 2023, there was some concern that we wouldn’t be able to get our hands on the game before D23 2022 on September 9. The publisher, Take-Two Interactive, acknowledged the shift in a financial results report, stating that the “game will arrive later this fiscal year” on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. There will be a “later date” for the Xbox One, PS4, and Switch versions.
Firaxis Games and 2K Games had planned to release Marvel’s Midnight Suns in March 2022. However, the developer announced at the Summer Game Fest that the release date had been pushed back to the second half of the year, to October 7, 2022. Also, Check the latest Release of Bayonetta 3.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns characters
Your character, the Hunter, will join 12 other Marvel heroes in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Marvel’s Midnight Suns characters have so far been confirmed to include these heroes:
- Captain America
- Captain Marvel
- Iron Man
- Dr. Strange
- Ghost Rider
- Nico Minoru
- Scarlet Witch (seemingly more of a story character than a playable one)
Post-launch DLC may include more heroes to add to your team, in addition to the mysterious characters that will most surely be teased before release. It’s safe to say that if Marvel has anything, it’s an abundance of heroes.
Many of the familiar Marvel bad guys in Marvel’s Midnight Suns are corrupted by Lilith’s evil influence. All of Hydra’s forces, including Venom, the Hulk, the Scarlet Witch, and Sabretooth, have been verified.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns Gameplay
This tactical role-playing game has you picking three Marvel characters to join you on your adventures. In this game, the heroes superpowers are represented by cards, and you can build your squad around the talents that you think would serve you best.
Solomon argues that in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, “you and your other heroes are already legends, and must combine everything in your arsenal to stop Lilith.” This means that there is no learning how to fight or progressively growing stronger. “Cards offer a novel and exciting approach to tactics, letting us go all out in creating a fighting system that gives each hero a distinctive appearance, feel, and play.” The Abbey is where you and the rest of the heroes in your party will congregate while you’re not out on the field.
I think the equally great fantasy for Marvel fans is not just battling, but rather how the heroes live with each other,” Solomon said in an interview with GamesRadar+. We have a wide roster of heroes (11 other Marvel heroes plus The Hunter) and you have to pick and select which ones you want to spend time with.
Conversation, quality time, and reciprocal gifts can all help strengthen these bonds, but romance isn’t one of them. For Firaxis Games’ director of storytelling, Chad Rocco, “this is a particularly interesting and diverse mix of heroes that don’t always see eye to eye,” thanks to the inclusion of characters from multiple Marvel franchises (including the Avengers, X-Men, Runaways, and more). It will fall to you, Hunter, to mediate tensions between the establishment and the up-and-comers.
With Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the developers behind XCOM have created a tactical role-playing game that is both more rapid and more sinister.
Typical gameplay of Marvel’s Midnight Suns can reportedly take around 60 hours, and the developer Firaxis has promised that the game would have extensive replayability. Depending on the path you choose through the story, you can utilize and level up a variety of heroes, collect and combine unique decks of cards, and chase several distinct forms of the Hunter.
