Leah Michele is expecting her second child. The Glee and Broadway actress revealed her pregnancy on Instagram on Wednesday by sharing several early pregnancy pictures.

The Broadway actress shared some pictures of herself cradling her stomach and gazing down at her baby bump while posing in a white shawl and underpants. “Mom, Daddy, and Ever are ecstatic. 💛,” Michele captioned the photo.

Michele dated Zandy Reich for over two years before getting married to him in 2019. In 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, a now three-year-old son named Ever.

After taking Beanie Feldstein’s place in July 2022, Michele wrapped up her last appearance as Funny Girl’s Fanny Brice in September of last year. Reviews of the Broadway revival were first divided, with many criticizing Feldstein’s portrayal.

According to The New York Times, producers were able to recover capitalization expenditures during Michele’s run, which included nearly 600 performances at the August Wilson Theatre in New York.

Seven standing ovations were given to Michele during her last performance. After the show ended, Michele posted on her Instagram story, saying, “Thank you for all the love and support. This was truly the most extraordinary year and chapter of my life. I cannot wait for what’s next.”

Because the actress from Glee, Rachel Berry, also had a personal connection to the role, fans of Michele’s portrayal of Fanny Brice became particularly attached to her during the Broadway run.

The TV show “Glee,” made by Ryan Murphy, aired on Fox from 2009 to 2015. In the show, Lea Michele’s character, Rachel, sang “Don’t Rain On My Parade” many times. She also did a popular version of “My Man” during her last Broadway performance.
