She did, however, leave college shortly after and began working as a part-time waitress and bartender. During her job, she got to know Micky and began dating him.
Soon after, the two were married and Charlene now frequently goes to boxing matches with her husband. On April 6, 2011, they were spotted together at “K.O. Cancer” in Los Angeles. At the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Micky received “The Hope Award” from “City of Hope” in recognition of his remarkable community service.

Kasie Ward is the only daughter of Micky Ward. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. Kasie went to Nashua High School South in New Hampshire and then attended Middlesex Community College in her hometown.
Ms. Ward still lives in Lowell with her father and all of her family. She travels with her dad and attends a lot of family gatherings.

Annie Greenhalge (Carroll), his maternal great-grandmother was born in Ireland. Ireland’s County Tyrone was home to his maternal great-great-great-grandparents, Peter McMahon and Ann Quinn.
To avoid poverty and injustice, they left Ireland in the 1850s and settled in Boston, Massachusetts. They became laborers and millworkers and lived in the Acre area of Lowell, Massachusetts.
