I wish everyone knew my grandma like I knew her. Her wit included. Completely uninterested in wealth or worldly possessions. She prioritized peace in her home and it felt like Heaven. She lived as a peacemaker. Love you, Grandma 🤍 https://t.co/7y444jxoqI

Kathleen’s Journey of Faith and Conviction
J. Cyril and LaPrele Lindsay Johnson welcomed Kathleen into the world on May 11, 1941 in San Francisco, California. Her family and friends remember her as a bubbly, vivacious young lady who loved life and excelled in both athletics and academics serving as the tennis team captain in high school, president of the student body and valedictorian.
Kathleen continued her studies after high school at the University of California, Berkeley, where her devotion to her convictions and witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ grew. A young Harvard student named Henry Bennion Eyring observed her at a devotional she attended in 1961 while she was attending summer school in Boston.
Kathleen devotedly performed numerous official Church duties including giving Sunday school classes, acting as a visiting teacher and creating a newsletter for her congregation for many years. She is also remembered for her quiet, less formal, but no less effective, ministry to others.
Throughout Henry’s career and Church service, Kathleen, a talented writer provided editorial advice. Later, she took official minutes for the monthly gatherings with the other spouses of General Authorities.
Kathleen also contributed to the co-publication of a monthly family newsletter, wrote scripts for family occasions and chronicled family recollections.
Our condolences are with her family and friends. For more information related to other stars’ illness, their health, surgeries and more you can follow us on twitter and check out our latest posts.
