Episode 5 of Star Wars: AhsokaTM amazed viewers by taking them back to the Clone WarsTM. Ahsoka TanoTM travels through time and space while trapped in the World Between WorldsTM. Her training with Anakin SkywalkerTM during the Clone Wars returns to her when she is suspended in time.
Anakin, portrayed by Hayden Christensen, alternates between his normal appearance and that of his future malevolent persona, Darth VaderTM. This trip down memory lane with Master and PadawanTM is epic and emotional. Ahsoka needs to consider her legacy and how she wants to be remembered.
Who Plays Young Ahsoka In Ashoka?
Episode 5 features Ariana Greenblatt as the young Ahsoka. The actor, who is 16 at the time of this writing, has been in a number of significant films. She played young Gamora in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, and she played one of the film’s most pivotal non-doll characters, Sasha, in Barbie. In addition to Scoob! and Stuck in the Middle, she also appeared in The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib. Greenblatt has also co-starred in the film 65 with Star Wars actor Adam Driver.
I’ve read and heard nothing but praise about Greenblatt’s performance as Ahsoka, and after finally watching the pilot, I can see why. She has a lot of charm and she and Christensen do a great job of propelling the plot forward. Greenblatt is clearly a young actor to keep an eye on after seeing how much she was in Barbie. Her career seems to be off to a great start, at least thus far.
Ashley Eckstein provided the voice of Ahsoka for both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. As Claire Temple in the various Netflix Marvel series—which were among of my favorite shows on that service before they went to Disney+—Rosario Dawson plays her in the live-action adaptations.
Each week on Disney+ at 9 PM ET, new episodes of Ahsoka will be available to watch. There will be eight episodes total, and the series finale will air on October 3.
