Misaki Takamatsu is the creator of the Japanese comic series Skip and Loafer. Since August 2018, it has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon. The manga had more than 1 million copies in circulation by January 2023. Skip and Loafer won the general category of the 47th Kodansha Manga Award in 2023.
When Will Skip and Loafer be Released After English Dubbing?
It has been licensed in North America for English release by Seven Seas Entertainment. But as of yet the release date is not yet confirmed. Crunchyroll released a comprehensive list of 19 anime series this spring that will be dubbed during the season.
These include programs like In/Spectre Season 2 that have already finished broadcasting the prior anime season. Sadly, Skip and Loafer is not included on this list. Any anime series that gains popularity among viewers is added to the list for episodes with dubs.
Makers are currently examining the sales figures for Skip and Loafer. They can then make a decision on Skip and Loafer English Dub. But we expect that the series will dubbed in English soon.
The Dubs for Skip and Loafer are Spanish and Portuguese, so there is no English Dub right now, but hopefully, it gets one in the future.

What is the Story of Skip and Loafer?
A manga series served as the inspiration for the anime. The animation work has been contributed to by well-known figures like Kotomi Deai, Manami Umeshita, Takatsugu Wakabayashi and others.
The series tells the tale of a young girl with lofty aspirations. Mitsumi Iwakura is a bright high school student who transferred from junior high school in Tokyo to high school in Ishikawa Prefecture after finishing junior high. Only eight students made up Mitsumi’s class in the sparsely populated area where she was raised.
On the day of her entrance ceremony, she gets lost and caught up in the commuter rush, which swiftly frustrates her life plan. A tall, dashing boy who was concerned for Mitsumi calls out to her and decides to accompany her daily to school.
