America’s Got Talent judge revealed last month that being more emotionally and physἰcἀlly intἰmἀte with her husband had given her the confidence to admit that she isn’t heteros*xual.
Julianne Hough discusses her candid talk about her husband Brooks Laich in a new interview related to Women’s Health. She said her “massive transformation” happened after she had in vitro fertilization after being diagnosed with endometriosis.
The 31-year-old was identified as having endometriosis in 2008, which can make it challenging for women to get pregnant. The couple made the decision to begin IVF procedures.
Brooks described his wife as a “champion” for undergoing three shóts every day for two weeks. The America’s Got Talent judge said her husband has been very supportive during the highs and lows, but she wasn’t sure how he would react to her newfound fortitude. She said:
“I was connecting to the woman inside that doesn’t need anything, versus the little girl that looked to him to protect me, I was like, ‘Is he going to love this version of me?’ But the more I dropped into my most authentic self, the more attracted he was to me. Now we have a more intimate relationship.”
The actress/dancer revealed to the magazine:
“I told him, You know I’m not straight, right? and he was like, I’m sorry what? I was like, I’m not. But I choose to be with you. I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this and there’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shἀme or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised.”
After Julianne made her revelation, her NHL spouse praised her open new cover on Instagram. He added a caption on a picture of her cover shóót:
