Adam Fravel “Ex-boyfriend” of Missing Minnesota Mother Madeline Kingsbury Arrested for Mυrder After Human Remains Discovered

After discovering human remains more than two months after the disappearance of Minnesota mother Madeline Kingsbury, police have detained her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children on suspicion of mυrder.

Authorities say Adam Fravel, 29, was arrested on second-degree mυrder allegations on Wednesday night (June 7), weeks after he denied any involvement in her disappearance.

Kingsbury’s aunt, Rebecca Jacobson, told Fox News Digital in a statement that the “family believes the right person is in custody and holding out hope that we’re going to find Madeline.”

Approximately 45 miles south of the location where Kingsbury was last seen alive, police discovered human remains in a thicket along Highway 43 north of Mabel, Minnesota.

According to the Winona Police Department, the body was located by using information gleaned from the investigation. The department said in a statement –

“Because of this, law enforcement personnel have arrested Adam Fravel on probable cause in connection to her disappearance.”

The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office is attempting to determine if the remains belong to Kingsbury. Kingsbury, age 26, disappeared on March 31 after leaving off her two children, ages 5 and 2, at their daycare in Winona with her boyfriend, Fravel.

The police termed her disappearance “involuntary and suspicious.” Fravel told police that he left their home at 10 a.m., and when he returned, Kingsbury was not there, but her phone, wallet, and outerwear were. According to authorities, he was the last individual to observe her alive.
