Ava Patete is a remarkable person who left her imprint on Whitman Hanson Regional High School. Ava, an honors student won the admiration of her teachers and classmates at her high school in Massachusetts. Ava was exceptional not only for her intelligence but also for the kindness and giving she consistently showed.
She was admired for her selflessness and the way she worked to improve the lives of everyone she encountered. Even as a high school student, Ava knew she had to find a way to make time for both her schoolwork and her passion for making a difference in the world.
On the evening of May 31, 2023, at around 8:30 p.m., Ava Patete dἰed when she stepped into the path of an MBTA commuter rail train. The tragἰc event had severe results, changing the lives of everyone involved irrevocably.
