Robert De Niro and his girlfriend Tiffany Chen attended the Cannes Film Festival together over the weekend, just days after she announced she had given birth to his seventh child.
The couple, who just had a daughter together named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, coordinated in dark looks for the evening out. De Niro wore a traditional black suit, and Chen wore an all-black combination of a zipper jacket and a black shirt underneath.
The actor is presently at Cannes for the world premiere of Kἰllers of the Flower Moon, his most recent film, which at the festival’s annual screening, garnered a nine-minute standing ovation.
De Niro had taken pictures on the red carpet earlier in the day with his co-stars, including Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio.
De Niro first acknowledged that he had welcomed Gia during an interview with ET Canada, when he also corrected the reporter who asked about his six children by replying, “Seven, actually.”
Shortly after, De Niro and Gayle King appeared on CBS Mornings about their recent addition, with King stating that they were “over the moon” about it.

The actor has six more children from other relationships. De Niro and his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, have two children, Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46.
In 1995, He had twin boys, Julian and Aaron, now 27 years old, with his ex-partner, model, and actress Toukie Smith. In addition, De Niro and Grace Hightower are parents to daughter Helen, 11, and son Elliot, 24.
On Thursday, Apple Original Films released the first trailer for Robert De Niro’s upcoming film, Kἰllers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Muɼders and the Birth of the FBI, based on the 2017 book by David Grann.
The Osage Nation, who became affluent after oil was discovered on their property in the 1920s, was the target of a series of muɼders in Oklahoma.
In addition to producing the film, Scorsese, 80, co-wrote the script with screenwriter Eric Roth (Dune), and DiCaprio, 48, is credited as an executive producer on the film. This is the actor’s sixth project with Scorsese in this capacity.
Kἰllers of the Flower Moon stars DiCaprio, De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Cara Jade Myers, Tantoo Cardinal, JaNae Collins, William Belleau, Jillian Dion, Louis Cancelmi, Michael Abbott Jr., Tatanka Means, Pat Healy, Jason Isbell, Scott Shepherd, and Sturgill Simpson.
Before being streamed worldwide on Apple TV+, Kἰllers of the Flower Moon has its exclusive debut in a few select theaters on October 6 and opens to the public on October 20.
