More and more sectors are joining the anime bandwagon. All sorts of intellectual properties (IPs), from Bladerunner to Cyberpunk, have successfully made their way into the medium. Thanks to Netflix’s successes like Castlevania, video games have done very well. If the latest rumor is to be believed an anime adaptation of Sekiro could be the next video game to hit the shelves.

Anonymous anime industry influencer is the source of the rumor. As usual, oecuf’s enigmatic teasers for an upcoming program in the form of a sequence of emojis caused quite a stir among fans.

The post recently stated that the crew has been informed by reliable sources that an anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is in the works. Fans are nonetheless excited about the potential adaption, despite the fact that no official announcements have been made.

Sekiro Anime Adaptation

Despite being published by Activision, Sekiro is an untamed game. Wolf a shinobi with a vendetta is the protagonist of this 2019 release. Wolf tracks down a family of samurai in order to exact revenge for his stolen lord, and Sekiro has a vengeance against them to this day. Sekiro has become a cult favorite because to its wide variety of gameplay styles, including stealth and melee action.

Given its Japanese heritage, internet users agree that Sekiro would make a fantastic anime; here’s hoping the rumor is true. Once more, there has been no formal announcement regarding this possible anime.
