As he was leaving Taylor Swift’s concert in Houston on Friday 21 April, a Texas man was fἀtally struck by a suspected int0xicated driver. Jacob Lewis and his sister were on their way home from Taylor Swift’s Era Tour in Houston when their car stalled, according to a GoFundMe page.

According to the fundraising website, “Jacob at once started to push the car when he was tragἰcally hit and kἰlled by a drυnk driver.”

Police identified the allegedly intoxicated motorist who fled the scene as Alan Bryant according to the local news source KHOU 11. He is currently being held at the Harris County Jail on charges of failing to stop and render aid.

Jacob’s father, Steve Lewis, reportedly told the publication, “You know, to make it worse, the driver got out, helped my daughter get my son out from under his car, saw what had happened and got in his car and left.” I hope that everyone who knew Jacob was impacted by him and that he was a positive part of their life, he continued.
