Jordan Cashmyer dἰed at the age of 26 on January 15th. Jordan’s family shared the news that addiction was the reason for her deἀth on a GoFundMe page set up in her honor.
Jordan’s dad, Dennis wrote the post in which he shared the news that his daughter had dἰed suddenly on January 15, 2022 and she was the mother of a baby girl who was only 6 months old. Her father said:
“Jordan was always so full of life and full of personality. Her laughter and joy were infectious and she had a way of making everyone around her feel the same way”.
Cashmyer’s representative and the office of the Chief Medical Examiner earlier verified to USA TODAY that Cashmyer passed away nine days after her 27th birthday.
Howard Wood wrote:
“Cashmyer is a nice, caring, good-hearted person. I feel fortunate to have known and worked with Jordan for so long and I only wish that fate had been more forgiving of her. My sincere wish is that she is at peace now”.
MTV’s “Teen Mom,” a reality show that followed several of the stars of “16 and Pregnant” as they learned to be parents, shared a tribute to Cashmyer on its official account.

The deἀth of Cashmyer isn’t the first tragedy to strike a former “16 and Pregnant” cast member. Former Season 2 cast member Valerie Fairman was discovered deἰd in Pennsylvania in 2016.
Fairman’s episode which was broadcast for the first time in 2010, focused on the time leading up to the birth of her daughter Nevaeh, who was 7 years old when Fairman passed away.
Jordan Cashmyer’s deἀth was attributed to an overdose of fentanyl, despropionyl fentanyl and cocἀine, reports acquired by The Sun.
Her residence in Westminster, Maryland was where she was discovered. Needles were not found, although the autopsy report stated that there appeared to be a needle puncture on her right arm. She was “well-nourished” when she passed away.
