Viewers of Fox’s The Masked Singer are curious as to which famous face might be hiding beneath the Macaw costume. Many believe that Tracee Ellis Ross, star of the hit TV sitcom Black-ish is hiding under the alias “Fairy,” who has appeared on the show before and performed without being exposed.
Who is Macaw on Masked Singer?
With the new three-round, three-week structure introduced in Season 8, Season 9 is following suit. Only the winner of each round advances to the next round. Fairy needs to win one more match against the new acts Macaw and Axolotl in order to advance.
The show’s official Instagram has been teasing the new singers and some fans seem to think they already know who Macaw is. The official Instagram for The Masked Singer has confirmed Macaw’s involvement in the episode.
In the description of the photo of the multicolored outfit, it reads: “#MacawMask wants you to join their flock. #TheMaskedSinger.”
Several admirers think they know who the famous face is in the Macaw costume even though it won’t be exposed until the costume is destroyed.
But some fans of the Masked singer said he is David Archuleta. His voice is distinctive even when he’s dressed as a big parrot. Macaw’s little stature is likewise in keeping. His initial on-stage clue was a silver medal, alluding to the fact that he had placed second in the 2008 season of “American Idol”.
