The viral starlet who first gained attention when she and her cousin Rosie McClelland sang “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, has given birth to her first child.
On March 5, the 19-year-old mother posted the first photo of her son on Instagram. His tiny hands are grasping his mom’s in the photo. Sophia put the British formatted date of her son’s birth (26.02.23) in the photo’s caption.

Rosie responded to the post with, “I love him so much already,” followed by a blue heart emoji. She also shared the news of Sophia’s baby on her Instagram Stories. When the new mom posted a photo of herself on Instagram, Ellen congratulated her and joked, “Welcome to the world, Nicki Minaj the 3rd!”
Sophia has kept quiet about her son’s name. In a video posted to YouTube in February, she also revealed that she would like to wait before releasing a full-body image of her newborn. She said:
I don’t want to show my baby’s face at first when he’s born until I feel ready to. Maybe in a couple of months, after he’s born, I will feel like I’m ready.
The singer’s long-term boyfriend is the father of her child, but she has kept their relationship under wraps. Sophia had a baby shower in January to welcome her new addition with Rosie and other female friends and family.
