What Caused the Death of the Instagram Star?
On February 12, 2023, Instagram model Diana Deets also known as Coconut Kitty took her own life. A friend confirmed the tragic news by updating Diana’s Instagram account one week later on Sunday, February 19, 2023 with the following caption: “Last Sunday, Coconut took her own life. It’s unfair. Life isn’t fair.”
Over 5.4 million people follow the model on Instagram and she has over 1.4 million followers on Twitter. Thousands of her mournful fans reacted to the post which claimed the influencer had committed suicide due to depression with shock and disbelief.
Fans were devastated by the news of Deets’ death and took to social media to share their thoughts and feelings. They used words like “angel” and “gentle soul” to describe the model. Many people expressed their sadness at the news saying that the world seemed less bright without her presence.
