Which raises the stakes for identifying Eli’s mother as a mystery. Eli’s mother was a recurring character on the show, So Derek is essentially a single parent to his little boy and some viewers might assume that Braeden is Eli’s real mother. She was the mercenary who rescued Isaac from the Alpha pack and in Season 4 she was seen dating Derek.
Although Braeden isn’t seen, she and Derek who both carry a lot of emotional weight may no longer be together. Braeden is a Black woman, but Eli looks completely white which makes the idea that she is his mother a little muddled.

Maybe it was Season 3’s Darach, Jennifer Blake since she and Derek also had a tumultuous romance. Even though Jennifer died on the show, Allison and the movie’s twist villain both saw her resurrected, so it seems like anyone can.
