Kody Brown, star of “Sister Wives” has lost his fifth wife. Brown was previously married to four women. In a preview for the upcoming “Sister Wives: One on One” special, the family patriarch, age 53 revealed that he and Janelle Brown had separated. Kody confirmed their split in the clip and said “Yes, we are separated.”
Janelle, 53, also confirmed in the preview that she and Kody, who had entered a polygamous marriage in 1993, had separated. She told the special’s host, Sukanya Krishnan, “We’ve been separated for several months.” Krishnan was visibly shocked. This comes after Christine Brown announced a year ago that she and Kody were severing their 25-year “spiritual union.” Kody’s polygamous marriage to Meri Brown, 51 has evolved into a platonic friendship with Robyn Brown.
Kody “begged” Janelle on the most recent episode of “Sister Wives” to try to improve their relationship.
