Emily in Paris Season 3 Trailer: As well as high fashion, Emily has returned to Paris. The third season of the hit Netflix series returns on December 21, and on Wednesday, a trailer was published, offering viewers a first look at Emily Cooper’s (Lily Collins) extensive wardrobe for the upcoming season.

In snippets of upcoming episodes, the social media darling rocks an iridescent skirt, feathered jacket, a striking zebra-striped shirt with enormous shoulders and more. Furthermore, the character sports bangs, a staple of the French girl hairstyle canon.

In the third season, Emily is torn between two professional paths: leaving France with her boss Madeline (Kate Walsh), or remaining with her mentor Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) in Paris. A love triangle involving Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie also involves her (Lucien Laviscount). You can read about all details of Emily in Paris Season 3 here.

Her character, though, continues to adopt a more-is-more approach to fashion, preferring combinations like thigh-high boots with a metallic skirt and a neon sweater. French actress Camille Razat, who plays Emily’s Parisian friend Camille, revealed that she works with costume designers Patricia Field and Marylin Fitoussi on her ensembles when Page Six Style caught up with the stars of the program earlier this year to get some indications about the fashions to come.

Fans of Emily in Paris can open their presents early this year thanks to Netflix. On Wednesday, the streaming service released a trailer for season 3 of their popular show; on December 21st, the full season will become available.

Despite “pulling double duty,” as her best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) notes, the marketing executive seems to be back in the City of Light after a major cliffhanger in season 2 in which Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper considered accepting a job offer from her boss Madeline (Kate Walsh) that would require her to leave Paris, or following her prickly but formidable mentor Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) to a new company.

Of course, Emily isn’t just working; she’s also involved in a passionate love triangle with the dashing Chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and the handsome Brit Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). During a late-night card ride, Gabriel tells her, “You altered my life.” Meanwhile, Alfie and Emily jet out to the French wine region for a romantic retreat complete with a hot-air balloon flight above a château.

She declares, “We constantly talk about work-life balance, and right now I am all about life,” just before a montage of happy scenes from the show. Whatever you do, don’t pick New York; Paris is your only option. The Darren Star-created series Emily in Paris debuted on Netflix in October 2020. Since its debut, it has received numerous nominations for both the Emmy and the Golden Globe awards.

Season 4 of the show has already been ordered. Our social media savvy heroine Emily will continue to “immerse herself in the adventures and surprise twists of fate that life in Paris affords,” according to a press release for season 3, filming for which began in June and also stars Camille Razat, Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery. Star has hinted at the future by discussing his interest in learning more about Emily’s history.

In December 2021, he shared how much he enjoyed watching Emily becoming more immersed in French culture. To quote the show’s creator, “what we really haven’t seen — except for Madeline (Kate Walsh), we see it a little bit — is how Emily is in relation to those that she’s left behind, and how being an expatriate for a longer period of time impacts her relationship with her home.

Both of Emily in Paris’s first two seasons are available to watch right now on Netflix.
