What Can We Expect From Emily in Paris Season 3?
The creator and co-executive producer of the show, Darren Star shared a few things about the new season of the show. At PaleyFest LA 2022, he confirmed that Season 3 of Emily in Paris would put the characters outside of Paris, exploring other regions of France.
He said at the event “We’re always thinking about how we can show Paris,” adding further “It’s not hard to make Paris look amazing, because it is, from wherever you look or wherever you point the camera. We will always want the story to drive locations. but we have some really beautiful locations lined up for season three in France, not just in Paris.”
There were rumors that a part of Emily in Paris Season 3 will be shot in London, however, there is no confirmation about it as of now.
In the last episode of Season 2, Emily calls Sylvie to inform her that she has reached a decision but the scene turns black before the revelation of the decision.
In an interview with Glamour (before the renewal for a Season 3), the show creator shared that he does have a perspective of what Emily has decided.
He said “The thing about this decision is there’s no right decision here,” adding further “There’s no one decision that’s going to make everybody happy or that’s even going to make Emily happy. She has some tough choices, and she’s put in the middle of a lot of sticky situations at the end of the season.”
Coming to the question “Will season 3 see Alfie and Emily together?” In Season 2 end, Alfie has expressed his feelings for Emily. He seems willing to take a brave move in their relationship, but Emily is found in a love triangle. With the update that Laviscount would join as a regular cast member of Emily in Paris Season 3, we hope this signifies that Alfie will be sticking around, even though this gets complicated further.
Emily’s discovery about the reconciliation of Gabriel and Camille threw a major twist in her plans, however, Darren believes that maybe it wasn’t a twist at all rather it was destiny.
When questioned about Emily’s failure to express her feelings for Alfie, he said “This does not mean the end of Alfie, by the way,” adding “What’s happened with Emily does not mean the end of Alfie.
I mean, it’s like, sometimes you look at a relationship that you think is the one, and you realize that the one might be someone else. So, I don’t believe that…certainly, for me, the door is open for Emily and Alfie.”
