Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s initial teaser ended with a blurry shot of the title character, who was only visible by their leg and one clawed hand. This new trailer gives us a fantastic preview. Black Panther falls from above in the last picture, landing in a heroic stance. As the camera rises, the mask and outfit are revealed to be covering a woman’s body.
There’s little doubt that the next Black Panther is a woman, but who could she be? Let’s analyze the various options.
Who Is The New Black Panther?
Chadwick Boseman will keep his role as T’Challa in Balck Panther 2: Wanda Forever, which has already been confirmed. Shuri, the character she portrays, is a member of the royal family of Wakanda and the sister of T’Challah, making her the apparent heir apparent. Because of her superior intelligence, she has also been depicted as a superhero in several films.

This notion appears to be supported by a new Marvel poster that featured Shuri at the center of the action and was unveiled on October 3. Either you’ve been tricked, or the title superhero of Black Panther 2 has been revealed.
Is Nakia The New Black Panther?
We assumed it was a given that Lupita Nyong’o would play the lead after the first teaser strongly suggested as much. Although the latest teaser and poster don’t lend credence to that idea, they don’t necessarily contradict it, either. Whether or not you end up becoming the Black Panther, Nakia’s field experience will be invaluable to Wakanda Forever.

Is Okoye The New Black Panther?
Okoye, portrayed by Danai Gurira, has all the chops to be a Black Panther. It’s a stretch, but not impossible, especially if several people in Black Panther 2 wind up donning the costume.
Is Ramonda The New Black Panther?
This is the furthest possibility, but it’s still feasible. Even if T’Challah and Shuri were killed in the Snap, we know that Angela Bassett’s character made it out alive. Is this a flashback to when the queen of Wakanda was forced to become Black Panther during the Blip? Regardless, it appears quite improbable that Ramonda will become the titular hero by the end of Black Panther 2.
