Katie George is currently working as a sportscaster and she began her career back in 2015 when she won Miss Kentucky USA 2015. Further, she went on to compete against Brooke Fletcher of Georgia, a fellow future sportscaster.

In 2015, she started her sportscasting career following earning a bachelor’s degree and joined a local station in Louisville, Kentucky, WDRB. After that, she joined Fox Sports Wisconsin to cover the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2018–19 NBA season. Later, in 2019 she joined the new ACC Network and started serving for ESPN in 2021 full time.

Who was Phyllis George?

Phyllis Ann George born on June 25, 1949 was a sportscaster and actress who joined the CBS Sports back in 1975 and used to co-host pre-show The NFL Today which made her the first woman to take up an on-air designation in national sports broadcasting. Furthermore, from 1979 to 1983 Phyllis served as the First Lady of Kentucky.
