The upcoming Avengers film is scheduled to hit theatres on 2nd May 2025 as of now. The announcement was made by Kevin Feige at Marvel’s Comic-Con panel. Furthermore, the director of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Destin Daniel Cretton will serve as the director of the fifth Avengers film.

Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty What’s More to Expect

He added “I think originally, there was a version where Wanda was maybe gonna turn bad at the end. That was a big change that I made and had a strong perspective on.”
Therefore, perhaps, Avenger: The Kang Dynasty won’t see Wanda; however, it seems like Hemsworth’s Thor will at least emerge somehow. Except for his interview with Wired consisted of a goof.
While talking about the franchise’s initial days, Chris pitched himself into the future. He said “I didn’t really know, none of us did, if it was gonna work, or if there was gonna be an extension beyond that first film into Thor 2, 3, 4 or Avengers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,” adding further “It was all just an idea and a dream. And one that I was on board with.”
