A video got viral on Twitter on 19 July 2022, when U.S. police arrested 35 citizens, of which there are 17 congress members. Police claimed them, as “crowding, obstructing or incommoding” while an abortion rights protest, was on a roadway near Supreme Court.
When the videos and photos were posted on social media, it was noticed that some legislators like U.S. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, all kept their hands behind but without any manacles.

After seeing this people think are they really arrested or everything is faked. After collusive allegedly it was said Omar and Ocasio-Cortez were not handcuffed during their arrest. Also, police arrested 17 members of the Representative House but did not manacle them. Capital police claimed they to block a public road which is against the DC Code 22-1307 and fined them $ 500 otherwise 90 days in prison.
