Pooh Shiesty wasn’t joking when he rapped on Shiesty Season’s “Neighbors” that “my pockets used it to hurt, and I get racks to spew a song.”
The Memphis rap star’s net wealth has been disclosed in new court records filed by his defense attorney Brad Cohen in his ongoing federal guns lawsuit.
Pooh Shiesty (real name Lontrell Williams) is presently worth $3,449,446, according to court documents obtained by Complex.
The 22-year-old “Back In Blood” singer has been incarcerated since June 2021, following an FBI indictment in October 2020 in connection with a double shooting in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Shiesty and two co-defendants are accused of shooting a guy in the buttocks outside a Bay Harbor Islands hotel after a ruined drug and shoe deal. As Shiesty drove away, a Louis Vuitton bag containing $40,912 in cash spilled from his car.
Pooh Shiesty pled guilty in January to one count of weapons conspiracy. If convicted, he faces up to eight years in jail. He originally faced the death penalty unless prosecutors agreed to dismiss three more charges in his indictment.
Brad Cohen claims in new court filings that the Southern District of Florida’s pre-sentence report is plagued with mistakes that made the suggested eight-year sentence “illogical.”
“The Government wishes to convince this Court that Mr. Williams, who has a net worth of $3,449,446, plotted a robbery, performed it, and then shot a known drug dealer familiar with him and could readily identify him,” the documents said.
“There is no evidence linking Mr. Williams to a robbery. There is no audio or text relating to a robbery. Bay Harbor law enforcement did not seize or recover any narcotics or firearms. In this situation, there are no cooperators. There are no co-defendants’ statements.”
Cohen also refutes the notion that Pooh Shiesty, who was driving a rented lime green McLaren, would “stage a robbery involving two other individuals for something as insignificant as a bottle of liquid codeine with a retail value of a few hundred dollars, at most, when any damage to the McLaren would have cost thousands of dollars to repair.”
Additionally, the defense stated that it would provide “ballistics and forensic evidence,” establishing that Shiesty did not discharge a firearm or shoot anybody. They assert that the dealer was facing Shiesty at the time of the incident and that Shiesty would have been unable to shoot the guy in the buttocks due to his “prone stance.”

The defense team for Pooh Shiesty stated that the maximum term their client should get is between 37 and 46 months – about three and four years. The 1017 Records signee will learn his fate on April 7 during his scheduled sentencing hearing.
