In the Bubble Trailer, Judd Apatow Directs His Wife Leslie Mann and Daughter Iris as Quarantined Movie Stars

Some known faces have been signed by Judd Apatow for his latest film casting.

On Friday, March 4, 2022, the official trailer of 54 years old Judd’s upcoming movie has been rolled out by Netflix, and it can be seen that the film follows a cast and crew members attempting to shoot a follow-up to an action franchise regarding flying dinosaurs during the coronavirus pandemic.

The most amazing thing is that Leslie Mann (playing Lauren Van Chance) and Iris Apatow (portraying Krystal Kris) is Apatow’s wife and his younger daughter respectively. 

In addition to the aforementioned cast, the film also stars Maria Bakalova, Peter Serafinowicz, Vir Das, Rob Delaney, Galen Hopper, Samson Kayo, Nick Kocher, Ross Lee, Danielle Vitalis, Jackson Fulcher, Austin Putnam, and Maria Bamford are also signed for the undisclosed roles.

In the movie, Mann features beside David Duchovny as a part of a separated acting pair that is pushed to stay together in quarantine, whereas Iris, features as Krystal who is a growing young actress.

In the trailer of the film, a number of actors appear to work on shooting “somewhere in England” for the recent installment in their dinosaur movie franchise named “Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest: Memories of a Requiem,” in October 2020.

A film assistant informs the team, describing appropriate safety measures that are required amidst the health crisis saying “Please make sure you are wearing proper PPE. Physical touch is, of course, off the table, so I would recommend making sweet eyes at each other.”

Kate McKinnon, who portrays a studio executive, says that the movie is “one of two” presently under production, adds, “If we fail, the studio is going to go down.”

Then the footage from the movie displays throughout the scene, featuring all the enjoyment, troubles as well as fuss that happens while shooting during rigid coronavirus protocols, ahead of when it is indicated that there is so much more for all the actors on the film’s set.

According to Variety, “The Bubble” will be the first movie by Judd that will be distributed by Netflix. Judd is also serving as a producer along with the director of the movie, and a writer as well beside Pam Brady.

An official description of footage of the film states on YouTube “Humankind is threatened once again by a dinosaur species: Cliff Beasts. The team must reunite, after 5 long years, to battle the Cliff Beasts — but this time on Mount Everest.”
