What Was Found in Preston Lord Autopsy Report?

Lord was brutally attacked last year (2023) in Queen Creek after attending a Halloween party. Although the motive behind Lord’s death was under investigation. Queen Creek police treated the case as a homicide.

The Queen Creek Police Department filed charges against seven individuals in connection with the teen’s death around the end of December.

Who Has Been Arrested in the Murder Case of Preston Lord?

Preston Lord was fatally beaten to death. According to officials, three minors and four adults were taken to jail to face murder and kidnapping charges. On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, a group of jurors decided to charge four people.

The police in Queen Creek arrested three of them quickly and the fourth was already in jail for something else. Then, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, morning, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said they arrested two more people in connection with Lord’s death.

Later that same Thursday (Mar. 7) night, they added a seventh person to the list of those accused. Below we provided the list of persons who were arrested related to the murder case of Preston Lord:

Hines, Renner, Turner and Vigil’s arrests and indictments were revealed by Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell late on Wednesday March 6, 2024. Mitchell stated that there may be further charges in this case. Mesiner, Renner and Vigil were to face adult charges.

They were all accused of kidnapping, first-degree murder and second-degree murder. A charge of robbery was also brought against Turner, Meisner and Billey. Court documents allege that one of the suspects (Talan Renner) was taken out of the area after Preston Lord was attacked.

After the arrest, Preston Lord’s family shared a statement in which they said, “We extend heartfelt gratitude to the community members who stepped up to provide information to secure these arrests.”

What Happened to Preston Lord?

Lord was well-liked by many people at Combs High School in the nearby San Tan Valley. Football, basketball and golf were some of the sports he did in school. One night, there was a big Halloween party that lots of teenagers heard about through social media.

The police got called to the area because there were lots of kids in the streets near a house where the party was happening. Different people had different stories about what happened. Some said the party was crazy, but the police didn’t see anything wrong when they got there.

They left to respond to another emergency call. Later, there was another call about someone being hurt in the same neighborhood and that’s when they found Lord lying on the road. Sadly, Lord passed away two days later because he had severe injuries to his brain.
