Who Announced the News of Tyler Christopher’s Death?

Tyler was last seen on Oct. 30, 2023. The next day, a friend went to see how he was doing and discovered the soap opera star unconscious and in a position that would compromise his breathing.

Maurice Benard, the actor’s former co-star initially broke the news of his passing on Instagram. Benard posted two pictures of the deceased actor with a long statement announcing the actor’s passing and paying tribute to his friend.

“Tyler was an advocate for better mental health and substance use treatment who openly spoke about his struggles with bipolar depression and alcohol. We are beyond devastated by the loss of our dear friend and pray for his children and his father.”
