Steven A. Salazar was born on October 26, 1997, and grew up in Summit, New Jersey. He was a loved son, brother, and friend, known for being warm and kind.

Steven is remembered by his caring mom and dad, Lilia and Jose Salazar, and his grandparents, Francis “Mimi” Reyes, Jose R. Giron, and Dago Salazar.
He also leaves behind his dear brother Jose Salazar (married to Stephanie Murillo), sister Elizabeth Salazar (married to Jafeth Reyes), and his beloved niece Claire Reyes, whom he affectionately called “Clarita.”
Steven is also survived by his cherished girlfriend, Stephanie Parra, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who loved him. Unfortunately, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sula Portuguez.

People always thought of Steven as a really good guy. He was honest, kind, and caring. His actions showed how much he cared about people, and he had a soft and gentle way about him that made a lot of people feel better.
Even though he wasn’t super into religion, he really loved God and his family a lot. Steven believed in treating others the way he wanted to be treated, and that was the way he lived his life.

Steven Salazar Funeral Arrangements
Paul Ippolito Memorial in Summit, New Jersey, took care of Steven’s funeral plans. Friends and family came together on January 27, 2024, at 10:45 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church for a visitation and funeral mass. It was a time to remember and celebrate Steven’s life.
