When Will Dorohedoro Season 2 be Released?
As of yet, the exact release date of Dorohedoro Season 2 is not confirmed but the official Dorohedoro website announced on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, that a second season of the anime is finally in production.
They also shared the news of production on Twitter with a tweet and wrote, “Welcome back, chaos. Anime has been decided to produce a sequel as a distribution series.”

What We Can Expect From Dorohedoro Season 2?
Alongside the news, a brand-new key image for the series was also revealed, showing the main characters Caiman and Nikaido entering the Hungry Bug restaurant through the front entrance.
Dorohedoro, which is based on the dark fantasy manga by Q Hayashida, tells the tale of a mercenary named Caiman who has amnesia and awakens in the dystopian megacity known as the Hole after being changed into a reptile-headed beast by a sorcerer.
To heal himself, Caiman sets out on a quest to find and eliminate the sorcerer who caused his metamorphosis, with the assistance of Nikaido, the proprietor of a nearby eatery.
There are currently no other data available regarding Dorohedoro season 2’s production. The official Dorohedoro Twitter account no longer features MAPPA, the Japanese animation studio that created the first season of the anime and there is currently no word on when the show will air.
