Who is Mrs. Flood in “Doctor Who”?

Mrs. Flood is a character in the upcoming Series 14 of “Doctor Who”. She is the next-door neighbor of Ruby Sunday, the new companion of the Thirteenth Doctor. The character will be portrayed by Anita Dobson.

In Which Other Series Did Anita Dobson Appear?

Anita, Lady May, better known by her name Anita Dobson and was born in England on April 29, 1949. She is an English stage, film and television actress and singer. Her most well-known performance was as Angie Watts in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, which ran from 1985 until 1988.

Her 1986 single “Anyone Can Fall in Love” which was inspired by the EastEnders theme music, peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart.  She received a nomination in 2003 for the National Theatre’s Frozen staging for the Olivier Award for Best Actress.

The series has developed a cult following and is a prominent component of popular culture in Britain and other countries. Many British television professionals who grew up watching the series have been inspired by it throughout the years.

Based on its total broadcast ratings, DVD sales and book sales, the series has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest-running science-fiction television series globally and as the “most successful” science-fiction series of all time.
