As of 2023, Isabella Guzman is still in a mental health facility in Colorado called the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo. On August 28, 2013, 18-year-old Isabella Guzman committed a horrifying crime by stabbing her mother, Yun-Mi Hoy, at least 79 times in their Aurora home. The murder took place after a series of escalating tensions and arguments between Guzman and her mother.
