Kelley Joyce Holdren of Dyer, IN, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the age of 48. Below we shared a post related to her death:
She is Cliff Holdren III’s adored wife and mother of Hannah and Isabella Holdren. Dedicated sister of Kathy Smith, late Darcy (Chris) Scandura, Mark (Shawna) Smith, Luke Smith and late Matthew (Rebecca) Smith.
Aunt to Matthew, Tyler, Kiley, Jessica and Brieana. cherished daughter of the late James Smith and Carol. Kelley oversaw the UCAN program at the University of Chicago Hospital in addition to serving as chief flight nurse.
She presided over the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA) as its president. She will be sorely missed and was adored by many.

Where Will Kelley Holdren’s Funeral Service be Held?
Visitation will take place at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
Schererville Fire Department gave tribute to her on social media. They wrote:
