We are deeply saddened to share with you that Kevin Turen, a longtime Hollywood producer known for HBO dramas “Euphoria” and “The Idol” has died. In this post, you will get all the information related to his death.

What is Euphoria Producer’s Cause of Death?

Turen died suddenly this weekend at the age of 44. His cause of death is unknown at this time.

Turen’s close friend Jay Penske meanwhile said in a statement:

“Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends. He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world.”

“Our collective heart breaks for them and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today.”

Cassian Elwes, who produced Dallas Buyers Club said nice things about Turen on Twitter. He wrote, “A good friend and true indie film maker died tonight too young. I’m so sad. Hold your love ones close. Life is precious and fleeting.”

Which Movies Did Kevin Turen Make in His Career?

Turen was born in New York City in 1979 and went to Columbia University. Turen first worked at Capital Entertainment which later changed its name to “First Look Studios”. He started at First Look as a creative executive and worked his way up to become president of production.

In 2018, he co-founded Little Lamb Productions with Sam Levinson, who created Euphoria and his wife Ashley. Turen and the Levinsons’ first TV show was Euphoria, which was based on an Israeli drama of the same name. Turen, the Levinsons and The Weeknd also worked together to make the HBO drama “The Idol”.

They also worked together to make the 2020 movie “Pieces of a Woman” which stars Shia LeBeouf and Vanessa Kirby.

Pearl X, The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent and the soon-to-be-aired show Gossamer are some of his other works. He also made 99 Homes, At Any Price and That Awkward Moment. David S. Goyer hired Turen as president of his production business Phantom Four in 2014.
