Anduin Llane Wrynn is a fictional character who appears in the Warcraft series of video games by Blizzard Entertainment. Anduin is the king of the human country of Stormwind.
He first showed up in the 2004 launch of World of Warcraft. He is the son of Tiffin and Varian Wrynn. His fans’ want to know what happened to Anduin and this post will tell you everything you need to know.
What Happened to Anduin?
In World of Warcraft, Anduin first showed up as a child and the Crown Prince of Stormwind. After his father, King Varian Wrynn was taken, he was made King of Stormwind, but because he was too young, he couldn’t rule.
Instead, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon, a respected Alliance knight, took over as regent. After King Varian came back to claim his throne, the prince focused on spiritual issues and diplomacy. He went on a journey around Azeroth to learn how he could heal the souls and lands that had been hurt by war.
After the world found out about Pandaria in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, the young prince personally led an effort to find out about the area’s secrets and put out the warfires that were about to destroy the continent.
Anduin was one of the main opposition to the Horde’s Warchief, Garrosh Hellscream, in his fight to save the continent and its people. Even though Anduin wins in the end, Garrosh was able to get away and set off the events of World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.
After Varian was killed by Gul’Dan’s troops on the Broken Shore in the Legion expansion, Anduin takes the throne for good. Anduin doesn’t think he can be a good king, so he goes to the Broken Shore, where his father died to meet Genn Greymane and Velen.
Anduin finds the sword that belonged to his father and says that he can’t be the hero or the king that his father was. Genn tries to comfort him and then he sees his father and is told to do “What a King must do.” Anduin picks up his father’s sword and says he is ready to lead his people against the Burning Legion.
He feels brave and like he has a new purpose in life. Because Anduin liked to be diplomatic and help people understand each other, he became close with the Draenei Prophet Velen and even some important Horde members.
