Baker wad filed a lawsuit in an Austin, Texas court on August 19, 2023, demanding the company’s financial information for the years 2018 through 2023. Mayfield made a scene and yelled when he was requested to stay and provide a statement. He made an attempt to flee, but was caught and booked on minor offense counts. He entered a not guilty plea and was given an alcohol education program and 35 hours of community service.

Baker Mayfield, a walk-on true freshman, made history in 2013 when he was chosen the starting quarterback for the Red Raiders.
