Three people were killed in a violent crash on Monday, October 16, 2023. Dylan Weidenfeld a 26-year-old Jersey City resident was one of them. In this post, you will know the reason behind his death.
How Did Dylan Weidenfeld Die?
According to Hudson County prosecutor Esther Suarez, Dylan Weidenfeld was driving the Kia when it collided with a BMW on Paterson Plank Road at around 12:45 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Five persons were riding in the BMW. The BMW’s female backseat passenger was declared dead at the spot. A male passenger in the backseat was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where doctors declared him dead. The victims’ ages were not disclosed by the prosecution.
While notifying their next of kin, their identities are being kept private. A third person in the backseat is still in severe condition. Both the front-seat female passenger and the BMW’s male driver, both 23-year-old residents of Jersey City, sustained injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
The Jersey City Police Department is assisting the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit in its investigation.

Dylan Weidenfeld family members are deeply affected by hearing the news of his death. They shared their tributes towards him on social media. Dylan Weidenfeld’s sister said:
“There aren’t words to describe how incredible of a person my little brother was. He never failed to make everyone smile he was always delighted to help anyone in need, and his heart was full of love and appreciation for everyone he met.”
