They first connected at a comedy club in 1990 and they wed in 2007. In an episode of The Steve Harvey Show from 2018, they talked about their first meeting. Majorie said:
“I was late and I thought he was gonna give me the business because he got real quiet. He was just staring at me. I thought I was going to become part of the show, He finally realized, ‘Oh, I gotta say something.’ He was, like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t know who this is, but I’m gonna marry her.’ “

How Many Kids Does Steve & Marjorie Harvey Have?
Seven of Steve and Marjorie’s children are together in a large blended family. With his first wife Marcia Harvey, Steve has twin daughters Brandi and Karli, a son named Broderick, a son named Wynton and a daughter named Karli.
