What is the Suga Military Enlistment Date?

According to BTS’s K-pop group’s representatives, Suga will sign up by the end of the week for South Korea’s conscription program. On September 17, BIGHIT Music posted a message for fans on their website:

“We have further information regarding SUGA’s military service, SUGA will be beginning his required service on September 22.”

The announcement continued:

“There will not be any official events taking place on the day he starts his service or on the day he enters the training camp. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting SUGA at his workplace during the period of his service. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only.”

You can check out the below tweet which confirms the news of his Military enlistment date:

The update said:

“We ask for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his service and returns. Our company will also strive to provide all the support he needs during this time.”

On the day of the announcement, Suga also went live. You can see his live video recording in a tweet we provided below:

According to a fan translation, he assured the Army that his enlisting was nothing to be sad about and that they would see each other again in 2025. In response to criticism of the shorter hairstyle he debuted on the livestream, he said he was still getting used to it.

Soon after wrapping up the Asian part of his Agust D-DAY tour in support of his solo album D-DAY, which he released under the alias Agust D, BIGHIT informed the BTS ARMY on August 7 that Suga had started the procedure to begin his military service.

BTS, which consists of Suga, RM, V, Jin, Jung Kook, J-Hope and Jimin was initially made aware by BIGHIT in October 2022 that their inability to perform as a unit until 2025 was a result of their required military service. Jin enlisted first, then J-Hope, and now Suga.

V released his solo album in 2023, to know about it check out our below post:
