What’s the Plot of Who Is Erin Carter?
Erin Carter is the powerful, gorgeous, and mysterious wife of Jordi (Sean Teale), an emergency room nurse. Harper (Indica Watson), age 10, sees her mother as a woman who claims to love her unconditionally yet is constantly absent.
Before seeing the security camera footage of her battling off attackers in the grocery store holdup that sets the series in motion, her neighbour Emilio (Pep Ambrs), a police detective, thinks she is the wife of his closest friend. When Erin kills a woman in self-defence, it is Emilio who finds her in a classroom late at night.
To say that Erin Carter is complex is an understatement, much like any woman who has to juggle a wide variety of roles and obligations. And in other respects, well, she really is unique. “I think it was the juxtaposition of an action heroine embedded in suburbia,” executive producer Rob Bullock said to Netflix regarding Erin’s story.
