In “Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask”, a brand-new Pokemon named “Dipplin” is introduced. Flapple and Appletun are two of the Pokemon that Applin can develop into. Dipplin, the next stage of Applin’s evolution, is still a Dragon and Grass-type.
How You Can Evolve Applin Into Dipplin?
“Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Teal Mask” introduces a brand-new item called the Syrupy Apple. You require a unique item, a “Syrupy Apple” in order to evolve Applin into Dipplin much like with Flapple and Appletun, two of Applin’s other evolution options.

The Syrupy Apple is required to create Dipplin, just like the other two Apple components that can create Applin.
How You Can Find Syrupy Apple in “Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Teal Mask”?
In “Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Teal Mask” DLC, there is just one simple area to find a Syrupy Apple and that is a Syrupy Apple stand near Mossfell Confluence which is located in the southeast portion of the Kitakami region map.
Going up the hill on the other side of the river and then using your mount (Koraidon or Miraidon) to float across to Mossfell Confluence is the simplest way to get here.
When you arrive, look for the little cabin near to some apple trees. A fruit stand will sell you as many as you want for $500 apiece. The good news is that you can grab your Syrupy Apple as soon as you desire because this location of The Teal Mask DLC is reachable fairly early on.

You can still obtain a Dipplin even if you don’t own the DLC by trading one with a friend who does, or by exchanging a Pokémon carrying a Syrupy Apple for one.

How You Can Find Applin?
If you have a Syrupy Apple but no Applin to evolve it into, you can still locate them in the base Scarlet & Violet games. You might spend a lot of time looking for an aplin because they are rather uncommon critters.
A helpful hint is to dash into trees while riding your steed (Koraidon or Miraidon), as Applin occasionally drops from the branches.
Once you acquire it, you can utilize it just as you would a Pokémon using an evolution stone from your inventory to evolve Applin. Check out the tweet provided below (shared by a user on Twitter) in which you can see how Applin looks after its evolution into Dipplin:
