Billy Currington is currently single. He was born in Savannah, Georgia and grew up in Rincon, Georgia. He now lives in Savannah, Georgia, where he was born. He has two brothers, Charles and two sisters, Lexie, Ann, Kim and Kellie.
Currington tried out for a job at Opryland, a famous country music theme park in Nashville, when he was a junior at Effingham County High School in Springfield, Georgia. He didn’t get the job, so after high school, he went to Nashville to become a country music singer.

Why did Fans Think Billy Currington is Married?
There is a rumour that Billy Currington is married to Shania Twain. During an interview with Audacy’s Rob and Holly, the 49-year-old cleared up a “fact” on Google that said he and Twain were married from 1993 to 2008.
Billy said with a straight face, “We were [married], but it was a secret.” He clarified before bursting out in laughter, “I’m just kidding! That was a joke.” This is the reason why fans think he is married.
