Cobra Kai, which began as a YouTube original series and quickly became a global phenomenon, has since moved to Netflix. The program is a sequel to the film series The Karate Kid and picks up 34 years after the events of the first film, reviving the rivalry between them.
When Will Netflix Stream Cobra Kai Season 6?
It’s possible that season 6 of Cobra Kai will take longer to air than prior seasons. Unforeseen circumstances make 2023’s release date quite uncertain. Instead, a release in late 2024 or maybe 2025 is expected, giving fans more time to wait until they can train again.

Did Production Begin on Cobra Kai Season 6?
The 6th season’s writers’ room opened in the middle of February 2023 to begin plotting and writing episodes. Each episode of the last season cost between $2 and $3 million to produce. Ralph Macchio stated that they hoped to begin filming in May of 2023.
What Will Cobra Kai Season 6 Bring to Netflix?
About a year will have passed after Season 2’s events before Season 6 begins. Mike Barnes’s possible takeover of Cobra Kai after Terry offered him a stake is a major story aspect. Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and the rest of the actors from season 5 are confirmed to return for season 6. The producers of the show plan to keep everything in sync from season to season.

You may also be aware that Sony Pictures is working on a new Karate Kid film, though so far information has been few. We all know that Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita will be reprising their roles from the original “Karate Kid” films. Jonathan Entwistle is directing, while Rob Lieber wrote the script. Like Cobra Kai, it was supposed to start filming this summer in Montreal, Canada, but has been severely delayed because of the strikes.
Could Mike Barnes Become the New Cobra Kai Leader?
Mike told Daniel and Chozen that Terry Silver had long ago offered him a half-interest in Cobra Kai. A former opponent of Daniel’s, if he were to take over the dojos, might be able to continue to redeem himself and Cobra Kai, though he is unsure if he can find the papers or the lawyer to prove it.
Cobra Kai may be on the verge of civil war if Mike Barnes is in charge of Terry’s former students and they end up clashing with Kim Da-Eun’s followers. If Kreese is involved with Kim Da-Eun, he may try to manipulate the situation by convincing her to make a winner-take-all bet at the Sekai Takai pitting her half against Barnes’ half.
