What is the Exclusive Turn to Hot 101.5 Tampa?
As a result of Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa Bay’s decision to rebrand the station, Hot 101.5 Tampa saw a substantial transformation. They said goodbye to the well-known CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) format of “Hot 101.5” on WPOI and debuted a brand-new station called “101.5 The Vibe” in 2023.

As Tampa’s only Urban Ad_lt Contemporary station, it signalled a break from the preceding contemporary pop music format. The Vibe now emphasizes R&B music and well-known performers like Usher and Alicia Keys.
