There’s good news if you can’t afford a Taylor Swift ticket, want to attend the event again, the show in your city is sold out or you just want to see what all the fuss is about. Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” movie is coming to a theatre near you.

When Will Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Movie be Released?

Swift announced that at the beginning of October 13, AMC cinemas in the United States, Canada and Mexico will screen “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Concert Film”.

On Instagram, she wrote, “The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon.”

She made the revelation along with the teaser for the concert movie, which was recorded at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles during her six-night residency there earlier this month to close out the home part of her tour.

Sam Wrench, who is recognized for helming past significant live events and concert films for artists like Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Jennifer Lopez’s “Halftime” Netflix doc has helmed the two hours and 45-minute-long movie.

Due to the large number of ticket buyers when the “Eras” tour originally went on sale in the fall, Ticketmaster crashed. The theatre chain has upgraded its website and ticketing engines to manage the rush.

Not only did it break all concert sales records, but it also left tens of millions of adoring fans wanting more—either because they saw the concert and wanted to see it again or because they couldn’t get tickets for the sold-out show after sold-out show.

Swift’s record-breaking “Eras” tour, her first since 2018 has been underway since March. She has been credited for helping local economies in the US along the way and her tour is on pace to become the most successful one ever.

The release of the “Eras” tour concert movie will probably be welcomed news for the beleaguered movie theatre business which has been hurt by the Covid-19 outbreak. The singer of “Blank Space” is currently in Argentina as part of her international “Eras” tour.
